International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

It is the most popular and widely accepted test in all English-speaking countries. IELTS scores are valid for up to 2 years. Generally all German universities accept the test score. Different universities have different criteria in acceptance for the IELTS scores.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

This test judges your reading, speaking, listening and writing skills in English and the scores are accepted by 10,000 and above universities.

Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache/ Test of German as a Foreign Language (TestDaF)

It is equivalent to the TOEFL and IELTS, but it is for the German language Course. The test is conducted in 90 countries across the world including Germany. It is an internationally recognized test and basically tests your skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking. Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)

The scores are accepted by most of the business and management schools across the world.

Graduate Record Examinations (GRE)

The Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) comprises patterns like verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and analytical writing and is conducted by ETS (Educational Testing Services). Each section has two tests of 20 questions each and one trial section which can be verbal or quantitative.
